Coaches

Great coaching and effective communication go hand in hand. Athlete feedback are part of the coaching process. Motivate your players and lend support through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Being a coach is not easy but it is incredibly rewarding. This position requires knowledge of the sport, familiarity with the rules, as well as understanding the different tactics that can be used throughout the game. Desired qualities for this role in our organization are: good communicator, motivational, sports-knowledge, trustworthiness, empathetic, flexible, love of the game, committed. Players

Are you interested in registering your child in softball with the Fillies? The benefits of having your child in a team sport have a positive impact on the body, mind, and spirit. Playing a sport means children are expected to follow rules, accept decisions and understand that they could be penalised for bad behaviour. It teaches them to take direction from the coach, umpires, and other adults. Giving our players the opportunity to play competitively, explore, learn, and grow has been our goal since 1972. The skills developed on the field will follow them off the field and ultimately build strong and independent young women. Here we build our future leaders. $100 Park Duty/ Snack Bar  Fee is eligible for a Full Refund once a single four-hour Volunteer shift is completed. 

Bats purchased shall be USA Softball Certified.
